Women's competitive cashspiel as part of the BC Curling tour and WCT.
Welcome to the Abbotsford Curling Club and The Abbotsford Curling Classic Cashspiel presented by Major Welding as part of the BC Curling Tour & WCT.
We are limited to 24 total teams for both men’s and women’s events combined. The event format will depend on the number of teams entered.
All games will be 8 ends and follow Curl Canada rules (tick rule in effect), extra ends required if tied. There will be a 5-minute pre-game practice (4 rocks up and 4 rocks back) before each draw. Following the pre-game practice 1 player will draw to the button (if they cover the pin a different player will draw again), this will be used to determine hammer.
The event will start Friday at 8am with the Finals on Sunday. If necessary, we may start the event Thursday night. The café will be open to provide food and drinks on Friday, Saturday & Sunday.
